Your total cache-to-cache distance must be greater than a circumnavigation of the earth.

Here is the output from the Challenge Checker showing that I was qualified when I collected the cache in October 2016:

colincactus has used Project-GC to see if he qualified for this challenge and he did.

I made it with a distance of 123595.896 km and I only needed 40075 km
This is 3.08 times the required distance

For some reason the total on my Project-GC profile page is a bit higher. Here is a screenshot of it:
